Comments Thread For: Kantun Planning For Mexican War With Roman Gonzalez

Juan Kantún (21-5-3, 15KOs) understands that he's a very huge underdog as he enters this Saturday's fight against two-division champion Roman "El Chocolatito" Gonzalez (37-0, 31KOs), regarded as one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the sport. Kantun will have the packed crowd behind him, as the fight takes place at Palenque de la Feria Mesoamericana in Tapachula, Chiapas, Mexico.

Glad to see Roman back.... hopefully he gets a flyweight title late this year. Also, smart to stay with Tieken because of all the lower weight fights he needs to have. Big promoters don't seem to do as well with those

El Chocolatito is by no means a prospect. He's actually either the #7 or #8 P4P fighter in the world depending on who you're talking to.
