Comments Thread For: Roach Will Be Training Pacquiao To Knock Bradley Out

Hall of Fame coach Freddie Roach will be training Manny Pacquiao with a direct focus on scoring a knockout victory over WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley on April 12th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, according to one of Roach's assistant trainers Marvin Somodio.

In the first fight, in June 2012, Pacquiao admits he was "too nice" during the fight and allowed Bradley to go the distance. Bradley ended up winning a controversial twelve round split decision.

I love how people say that Pac was "taking it easy on Bradley". Believe me when fighters are in the ring and they see a chance to ko their opponent-they take it. Pac tried, but couldn't ko a version of Bradley with 2 busted feet.

At best, they need to be looking for a way to just beat him on points-not focus on a ko.

He could've had the KO in a couple of his fights since Cotto. He easily could've ended Margarito's night in about 9-10, but he ended up looking to the ref to stop the massacre by the later rounds and even admitted he eased up when he saw how terribly Tony was hurt. Could've taken out Rios but he was cautious after Marquez and maybe wanted the rounds after the long layoff.

Clottey wanted nothing to do with a fight, Mosley was on his bike the whole fight, and Marquez gets hit with bombs, goes down, but is never taken out. Bradley same as Mosley.

Everyone he's fought since the Hatton/Cotto '09 KOs have been guys with world class chins too. Put him in the ring with a Khan or Ortiz and he gets easy, early KOs.

I would say be cautions since that's the same **** you said against JMM, but it's Bradley he can jump in face first all he wants it's pretty safe.

I'd say how easy it was for Pac to touch Bradley in the first fight, and also training Ruslan who almost did it ........yeah, maybe a couple KD's, but Tim got heart I don't know about a KO.
