I had forgotten about that crappy scoring from 2 of 3 judges. Friends and I watched it live. They were all pizzed, I was ecstatic. Here's a man who had just lost his Mom, and he was damned sure not gonna lose that night. And he did it, he slayed the dragon. And I had just seen him a few years earlier dominate Greg Page at the Omni in Atlanta, so I was a fan of his whereas none of my friends were. Every time they came over for months I'd play the tape back. They weren't amused. HA!

Yup, the scoring was terrible .... luckily for Buster, he KOed Tyson.

British ref would've stopped the fight after Douglas was down. See the Malik Scott - Dereck Chisora for a recent example of British reffing.

Just because a current brit ref did that, doesn't mean 24 years ago it would've happened. That's just weak speculation.
