basically ya.....shane knew he wasnt landing one of those again...and he basically knew that hed woken the "sleeping giant" in floyd....shane looked lost the rest of the fight....a guy who is "gassing" after two rounds at that level shouldnt be in there in the first place

Would Pacquiao also beat Floyds resume?

        Corrales
        Zab Judah

No way would FLoyd have an unbeaten record with Pacs approach to fighting and fights. Im not talking about if Floyd could beat the people Pac fought, that is open to debate.

But if he fought regularly, year after year tough completion like Pac did for his unbeaten period of 7 years, he would have a few losses. That lucky win against Castillo is all the evidence you need to know the way Floyd was heading.
Floyds excuse was that he hurt his shoulder. Well that happens sometimes im afraid in the life of a workhorse boxer, sometimes its just not your night and without Floyds luxury of layoffs and taking time to pick and cherry pick opponents and being 100% every fight hed find that out fast.

too much circumstantial differences to really make a reasonable comparison. for example, pac had to move up in weight when he fought barrera and morales whereas those 2 would've been the one to move up to fight floyd.

But Floyd fought more times from Castillo 1 to the DLH fight in less years. Including an immediate rematch with Castillo. If that's the evidence you're using then it doesn't help you out that much

Your maths is wrong. The important thing is when Floyd became a name and the man to beat he took it easy, when in reality Pac stepped it up. Fighting top boys in 7 years.
Floyd fight often in his earlier years nobodies doesn't count im afraid. When Floyd became a somebody and the man to beat he went AWOL for long periods when the hard work really starts is when you become champ. Floyd knew the answer to that is by not fighting when he became a somebody.
