It's not like I mind about ggg going up to fight ward but ward seems to always be the one challenging and demanding
Do you really have to ask? The answer is simple.

dont know why ya'll wanna rewrite history but Dawson volunteered to go to 168 after the 2nd Hopkins fight and even wanted to enter the super 6

        He leaned out his division
Dawson was the one that said he would come down (that's on him, and his belts were not on the line)
GGG hasn't beaten anyone and is not a big enough draw to ask for anything (Ward is the #2 p4p fighter in the world and has a title at 168 so why wouldn't GGG move up? he has more to gain then Ward)

There is a reason why these guys have to accept it and that is because he brings more to the table than they do (titles, and p4p ranking).

Ward has beaten the best fighters in his division and also beat the guy who was considered to be the best in the division above his. That kind of guy deserves a pass.

In comparison Golovkin has done next to nothing. His accomplishments look very meager next to those of SOG. But he gets a pass all the time on fighting easy bouts.

Step back for a second and remove fighters names. Any headline fighter making a catchweight demand on smaller or larger fighter is automatically at fault and gets NO PASS.

It was always my stance, at least to cut that catchweight BS out and let fighters fight at the native weight. If you can't do it, then you shouldn't be asking others to do it.

I don't get the hate for Ward.. Hes absolutely CLEANED out his division with ease..
Beaten every challenge infront of him..
Hes pretty much the Hopkins of 168 division

Hopkins ran the middleweight division for years and cleaned it out and nobody was complaining..

Ward feels comfortable at 168.. Theres nothing wrong with that..

That being said, I really don't see any challenges for Ward at 168..
So its either go up to 175, or go to 160..

There's more options at 175 than 160 (GGG and Martinez)

His last performance was stellar after the 5th round once all the holding subsided.. He was landing shots at will, but they really had no effect on Rodriguez who was pretty much a 175lber that night..

I think he knew this and is thinking 160..
He would definitely beat GGG and Martinez..

With all this being said, I really dont enjoy his fights.. They are boring and have too much holding and mauling..

I respect him, hes no 2 in the world IMO

He fought a drained Dawson, a drained Rodriguez who looked like Christian Bale in The Machinist... you can say his best win was against Froch who is a very robotic fighter, and I like Froch by the way so no disrespect intended towards him.

Once he decides to fight real opposition at their weight,he will soon face the harsh realities of the sport and the classes that divide it. Golovkin would smash this clown.

IT DOESNT FREAKING MATTER THAT DAWSON WAS THE ONE THAT OFFERED TO GO DOWN IN WEIGHT!!!

Ward has basically cleaned out 168. He should have one upped Dawson's offer of going down in weight to offering to go up in weight.

That would have been the righteous thing to do which would have endeared ward to boxing fans who hate catch weights. It would erase any criticism of Ward beating Dawson.

I mean what the hell is Ward waiting for? Big money and legacy defining fights are waiting for him at 175.

I see no difference in the outcome of the fight vs dawson if it was at 175. That tells you he is good enough talent wise and physically to fight at 175.

                  STOP HIDING OUT AT 168.

DO NOT BECOME THE BLACK JOE CALZAGHE.

Maybe Ward wants to dominate his division for years and go down in history as the greatest and longest reigning 168 pounder of all time.

Nothing wrong with that. If he's comfortable fighting at that weight then he should stay there.

No, his punk ass, scared division needs to step up and stop making excuses why they can't fight Golovkin. It's irritating how people see Golovkin's team trying to make these fights, yet pretend he doesn't want them, like it's his fault Murray and Geale and Barker and Sturm and Quillin and almost everyone who matters has told him no at some point.

Then they say "he should move up," then turn around and get angry when people ask other fighters to move up and say they shouldn't be criticized for wanting to stay in their division.
I only ever hear the GGG fans refer to Floyd as a duck when GGG calls him out. A tiny guy who has never weighed more than 152 on fight night. Yet these same fans need tampons when they hear the very mention of GGG moving up to face Ward.

                      GGG fans are bitter ****s.
