I am curious how Cotto will train for this fight. If he's putting on weight for 160, then he should do some heavy lifting so it's muscle he's putting on.

Should hire Heredia or Juiceman Ariza for this fight.

He also needs to address his stamina issues though. Stamina and strength. A proper strength and conditioning coach can do wonders.

As a hardcore King Cotto fan I tell you that Sergio is the real deal and if Miguel is not 100% his chances of victory are much more smaller.

I believe that a 12 week training cycle with emphasis on condition and strenght are key.

Also, as stated earlier he needs to seek solutions to Maravilla's speed and angles. King Cotto is the smaller guy and he cant afford to be pounded by Sergios lefts over and over again.

For Cotto this is career defining, legacy writting fight. This is for glory, he needs to be ready! He MUST be ready!

Come on Miguel!! Take this fight seriously!!

Saw Cotto the other day here in Caguas and he already looks in good shape like he is taking care of his physic better between fights

Sometime he has tendency to gas out near the end. I think conditioning coach maybe more helpful as well.

8-9 weeks is sufficient enough,he will be peaking by week 7,knowing his work ethic anything more will either cause an injury or chance of overtraining,i want cotto to be able to box and brawl if need be without burning out quick..
