So, what exactly does having that WWE Network do? What's the advantage of subscribing?

I witnessed the whole Attitude era, I was just a kid at the time...best memories ever! I went to every Raw that took place in Houston!

            http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WWE_Network

It has every single WWE, WCW, ECW PPV in history that you can watch at anytime. Also will air the new monthly PPVs & you can watch them if you have the subscription. So no more 50-60 dollar price to order the PPVs. Than it'll also have new content such as WWE Legends House which is a reality show with legends such as Roddy Piper, Pat Patterson, Jimmy Hart etc. doing ridiculous things on TV. And a lot of other content too for just $10 a month. But it's a 6 month commitment so WWE makes sure that you just don't get it for WrestleMania than unsubscribe to the network.

What about Raw from say...96-the early 2000's?

I honestly think that the WWE is trash now...nothing will ever top the Attitude Era in my honest opinion.

As far as I know they haven't mentioned about whether all the Raw/Smackdown/Nitro/Thunder shows will be available on the network. If I were to guess I'm thinking they'll add little by little as each week goes along so that'll keep people coming back to re-new their subscription instead of giving every single thing at once.

I heard from Joey Styles on twitter though that supposedly all the Hardcore TV episodes from the old ECW days will be on the network at launch though.

Agreed. Even if your not a fan of the product now, it would still be worth getting due to huge PPV library alone. I think I'm going to hold off from getting it for the first week or two though to see how everyone is enjoying it based on whether there's a lot of connection/feed problems or not.
