I hardly ever agree with Fat Dan; but ESPN poll Maidana killed Khan with double the votes the Mayweather promotions did. So in my eyes it looks janky he so he needs to go with Maidana the backlash won't be as bad as if he picked Khan.

On last check, Con has some Pakistani\British\American fans all of which doesn't constitute a global profile.

If Con's boxing footprint was soo great, then he should have utterly squashed Maidana in any poll conceived. But Con, with his imaginary and over-inflated presence, was only able to manage a 5K swing in ONE poll.

All the other polls on the web had\have Maidana winning convincingly.

So, I don't think that new wrinkle justifies Con's worthiness to get a Championship fight with the P4P guy.

Maidana would lose every round against Floyd. Mayweather toys with guys that are looking for the big shot and that is all Maidana brings to the table. Maidana looked horrible against Devon Alexander, what do you think Floyd would do to him.
Khan is a crap fight as well but enough with hyping up Maidana like he is some world beater.

Dan Rafael only keeps it real when he is criticizing Mayweather. When it comes to Bob Arum, he holds his tongue because he knows better than to attack the Bobfather and piss him off. Rafael likes those free passes and buffets too much to go after the Bobfather the way he should.
