His last fight was awful but I don't think he needs to retire yet.

Bika is a tough man who carries some power, a dangerous fish for a guy like Bute I think.

He needs to gain his confidence back and should probably take an easy tune-up quickly then get back into the fire.

they already fought... bute won fairly easy. i think bika would wear him down if they fought again. dude is rugged.

i used to be a big bute fan and thought he was the goods, but he has trouble with pressure fighters. if bute can't dictate the pace, he struggles.

i think the only high-profile fights left for him are dawson and hopkins.

Mentally he is scarred from the froch fight. Scared to committ. Little confidence. He should be matched up against contenders . He won't be competitive at championship level anymore.

i think it depends on the contender. i dont think much of grachev(?) but that "win" was way too close for comfort. he needs a guy that isnt gonna walk him down and put on a lot of pressure. i don't think it's a mental thing. if you stay in bute's face he's gonna have issues.

on paper, glen johnson should have fared much better against bute than he did. but maybe thats just an attestment to johnson's age and/or their friendship outside the ring.

maybe someone like gabriel campillo would be a good fight to get back on track with. or even jeff lacy in a cross-roads kinda fight. although, that may be a bigger step up than lacy might wanna take on his comeback trail.

Long overdue but it paid off by staying in and cashing in or possibly out on Pascal payday. The depth at 168 and 175 is enormous and there is no possible way to maneuver in to a title win as even if he does win his mandatories wont be Brian Magee and Jesse Brinkley

At this point i doubt it and even if he does win 168 and 175 are talent heavy and he wont be able to dodge tough fites for long. This sport can only have one Felix Sturm.
