The bottom line is Mikey Garcia's stock is going to keep rising with or without a Yuri Gamboa fight. Without Mikey Garcia, Gamboa is going to fade even further into obscurity.

You Cubans see it as Team Garcia thinking Gamboa is a "threat" and they're "scared". Team Garcia probably feels like Gamboa didn't even show up to the press conference for the Rios fight, and that it just wouldn't feel right letting Gamboa talk his way into the biggest payday of his career when they already have a sour history.

If Gamboa didn't have that history with Team Garcia I think the fight would be done already.

I just hope the fight gets done. 50-50 fight. There's not many of these kinds of fights these days.

I think it's a 50/50 fight as well and that's kinda the reason why I think Robert isn't thrilled about it . I can't remember the last time Mikey wasn't a huge favorite .
