The old timers was in terrific cardio shape. Battling Nelson for example, was seriously considering going to the olympics as a marathon runner.

they trained for it lol, guys today train hard but they know they only have to go 12 rounds at most.. they could do 15 today still

Kids were raised harder in the old days. You had to walk 10 miles uphill to the market, carry the groceries on your back, and if you were late you got caned.
