    Kevin Johnson breakdown

Don't know a lot on this American fighter other than he's been in with vitali and gone the distance, defensive fighter and saw him fight fury. Can anyone tell me more, particularly his chin and power

I think Kevin is going to beat Chisora this week coming...

Far as with the chin he has never been stopped, didn't at one point of the Vitali fight looked like he was going to be stopped/dropped so I think that alone is probably more than enough evidence for me that I know Dereck wont stop this man.

I really do think we need to analyse Chisora past few performances, his power is overrated aswell If you can remember Helenius fight.
Robert fought with an injury to his shoulder for the majority of the fight, Chisora got inside and was landing yet he didn't stop a man who was already damaged goods...

The power of Kevin Johnson is one thing I don't know much about but I wouldn't be surprised if he can hurt Chisora.

Willing to bet on the fight?

Chisora will easily beat Johnson in my opinion. Easily. Kevin Johnson is just not a very talented/dedicated fighter.

And Chisora does have decent power as we have seen lately. His body shots are amongst the best in the division, if not the best. He's non stop action and can take a good punch. Add to that, Kevin Johnson didn't get a lot of time to prepare for this fight and has come unstuck against every serious opponent he's faced.

Even lost to the mighty Tor Hamer

With regards to Chisora-Helenius, it's a convenient excuse. Regardless, Chisora easily beat him at least 8-4 and probably 9-3, so it is what it is. Helenius is also a decent fighter with a decent chin and a huge size advantage over Chisora.

All you need to know is that he's fat, has taken the fight on 3 weeks notice and doesn't throw many punches.
Expect the ref to stop it early as usual when they see Kev not throwing anything back

"Safety Pin" Johnson is fairly skilled when he wants to be but he's basically the least watchable guy in the HW division...you cant really even judge his power by his stats (14 in 29 victories), he's fairly feather fisted but he stopped Alex Leapai in 2012 (who is fighting Wlad next)...the thing is he's either scared or lazy to throw punches, he just goes into this turtle defensive shell and it's an agonisingly boring to watch him just survive his way through fights without any real desire or attempt at all to throw punches to try and win.

Chisora should win this simply because he will outwork him, and grind out a wide UD, same as Fury did. Highly doubt Dereck could stop him and am fairly sure Johnson aint stopping him either.

Oh god, I can just imagine if it was Malik Scott v Kevin Johnson, that's actually scarily boring to even think of...

Chisora by UD unless he is in some trouble, then ref will make sure to stop Johnson for some reason.

Rumors are going around that Johnson throw a punch once.

Only fight of his I've seen was against Vitali. His constant taunting and shit talking paired with his complete lack of willingness to throw punches was laughable and painfully annoying to watch.

I mean seriously: Its one thing to taunt to get inside the guy's head when you're actually trying to win, like in Margarito-Cotto II. But to do it whilst fighting like a scared **** is just ridiculous.

Johnson is a crafty defensive fighter with good reflexes. The knock on him is that he doesn't have the heart of a fighter and lacks workrate and power. It's hard to hit him clean so Chisora will not stop him but should win a comfortable decision.
