How does Maidana take a huge lead, then it 'evens up' by the end of the poll so Khan gets the shot? This isn't like an election, where there's a precinct that's usually always for X candidate, and when that precinct is finally counted, X candidate takes the lead.

This was a scam from Day 1. But of course, the floydiots won't see it that way. HA

The way I see it, Khan has a fan base that is way larger online. Khan's base didn't show up at first until he added a link to his twitter account.

Really Mayweather beats either one, this way the fans get to picks who he beats, it generates more money than the other option, and he gets some traffic to his website.

The two choices presented as potential opponents were Maidana and Amir Khan. Maidana has a very large lead in the early stage of the campaign, but Khan evened things up by Friday and had a significant lead by Sunday's deadline.

Khan V Mayweather, finally . Why hate on this fight, there is a chance that Mayweather will actually be tested. The majority of people do not really know boxing, so I thought Maidana would win by a landslide in the polls because of his win against a promoted nobody claiming to be the next Mayweather. You can say this and that, but I believe this will be one of Floyd's most exciting fights to date. If he is not able to finish Khan the fight will become very interesting.

Mayweather lose to Maidana? That match would have been so lopsided I have no doubt it mirrors Mayweather V Gatti, terrible match up for Maidana. Say what you want about Khans Chin, but I give him more of a chance of challenging Mayweather any day over Maidana. Maidana fans could keep riding the wave until it soon crashes.

I don't enjoy hating on Maidana, he has done his part in boxing, but against Floyd his only option is landing 1 lucky punch that BETTER knock Floyd out, which is not likely. Against Floyd, Maidana seriously lacks the speed and boxing skills to pull off a win over such a technical fighter as Floyd. Floyd is the king at picking fighters like him apart.

Styles make fights people so get ready for a good one. You can never judge a fighter off his past performance that's how you get knocked out. Trust mw Khan will give Mayweather a run for his money and you can quote me on that.
