  • I like Morales in this one, tko inside of six rounds. Pac is good, not great and only great fighters beat EM.

Morales has a pretty good chin from what I've seen and could take some punishment. In the Pac v.s JMM I recall after the first couple of round manny getting rocked by marquez and I think Morales has more power in his punches than JMM. So I'll Have to pick Morales by SD.

Yeah right everybody talks about Pac's power and Erik's chin. We will have to wait just a little bit longer to get our answers. This is a close one . . .50/50 chance for both.

But when was the last time Erik K.O.ed an opponent? Pacman has won 13 of his 15 fights via K.O./T.K.O. 14 out of his 15 opponents all kissed the canvas including JMM which came out to ba a draw. So based on this . . . I'm with Pacquiao via short route.

But he was a monster at that lower weight and I don't think he has teh same pop and speed as before. Ayala, one-armed Chavez, Chi, Barrera ; all tough fighters who lost but not knocked out. If Morales wins, its would most likely be2 on points, I'd bet more on a UD or SD than a KO.

Morales can certainly control distance and would make it an easier fight for him. It's just that when someone is quicker than him on the trigger and he doesn't have time to think, he's much less effective than if you wait on him. I don't like his style against someone who comes in and out. I fancy he'll miss and Pac would get cleaner shots. But we'll only find out in March 19
Out of the fighters you Mentioned he dropped 2, and dominated and continuously hurt the other, chi got by on his elbowing, low blows and headbutss. At 130 he has dropped both champs, and hurt Barrera. Two of the last three agree Morales is a very hard puncher. And all 3 have been dropped by him and hurt by him. All good quality tested opposition. You dont drop those guys if you dont got some good pop.

        • Ima just say this. Manny knows the fans want a knockdown at least. Eric is going down before the fight is over. Even if it's not for good, he just will be off his legs. I don't care if Manny's punches aren't the type that really send you into lala land though the force he puts behind them will literally push you off your legs as they did on JMM's first fall. I highly doubt Eric will be any different. That's the type of punch that will make anyone fall backwards whether it really hurts or not. Who throws it is a different story and Kostya and Manny seem to have that straight punch mastered.

I wasn't talking about who he dropped, I was talking about who he KOed. None of the above. I'm not saying he doesn't have pop in his punches. Any boxing fool knows he's got power. Just doesn't carry it as much as he did at 122-126. He was knocking OUT people at that weight, at 130 he's knocking people DOWN. Catch my drift?
In any case, Morales didn't come out of those matches unscratched. Chi mashed him up, Barrera broke his nose. he takes as good as he gives.

So why would you be surprised if Morales KO's Manny if he's hurt top opposition again and again. Im not saying just a flash KD that they didnt see, I mean they actually going OW that hurt.

The way you phrase yourself is like Erik cant hurt PAC, when Erik constantly hurts his opponents.
