Floyd co-promotes with GBP, he has Mayweather Promotions. He is his own boss. Canelo is the same as far as I know.

    Stop making Floyd threads Larry

Floyd isn't ducking GGG. Quillin isn't ducking GGG. Promotion beef is real, and it's no boxer's fault.

        This, a hundred times over.

And if we're being honest, even though he has the contract with Showtime, Floyd could end the network beef and the promotional beef whenever he wanted.

Quillin ducked Golovkin before there was ever a network feud in place. He even made excuses not to fight Golovkin after he had the feud to hide behind.

Larry is correct on this one people criticize Floyd and say he should fight GGG,Pac, and Bradley but when someone points out the obvious hbo/showtime feud they find another excuse around it, however now that GGG is being called out by someone the feud is absolute and there is no way around it. hypocrisy at its finest

So Floyd is to blame for 2 networks not working together and he himself can easily fix it??? amazing

As you so often like to remind us, he's the top fighter in the sport. He does have the power and influence to help fix it.

Well Floyd is in a unique situation, most guys are not worth enough for HBO or Showtime to ever consider doing something together there is just nothing in it for them to work together with pretty much every fight or fighter.

Mayweather though is a big enough star that he could get HBO and Showtime to work together if that was the big stumbling block, HBO and Showtime made Lewis-Tyson so for certain fights (the ones most people want to see) they could possibly work together because there would be a big enough pie to make it worth their while.

So I wouldn't even say the HBO-Showtime thing is even part of the issue with Floyd, HBO is obviously still bitter about losing Floyd but I don't see that as being some huge stumbling block. There are other issue which are much more prevalent and problematic I would say than this issue when relating to Floyd fights.
