If you are really that confident in the guy, you'd want to see him fight top opposition. You'd be screaming for this fight, one that would get him massive credit from true boxing fans who know how good Lara is and how he has the tools to make GGG look horrendous.

I don't have a problem with the Lara fight other than I like the guy and don't think its a good fight for him, but huge props on wanting it. But if HBO breaks their GBP embargo, it might be over a bigger name than Lara

It could happen in theory, but the war has got worse since then, and Lara - Vanes was a mandatory defense that went to purse bid (and also one that didn't involve a big name on either side).

This is just Lara calling GGG out - and hell yeah, I'd like to see this fight, but for it to happen it'll only be on HBO and in the end won't be decided by GGG or even K2, but by Haymon and the HBO execs.

TBH while it's nowhere near as intriguing a fight as GGG - Lara, Kid C is far more makeable and would actually show Laras place at 160. Not only that, but he'd possibly get a strap which would put him in whole lot better position to ngotiate a subsequent GGG fight.

This would be a decent fight at least, and one which actually has a decent chance of happening.

Yeah GGG v Lara would be cool. But this stuff only broke like a few hours ago and you're already shouting duck. What's with the hate? You've got a major issue with GGG which is completely hypocritical considering the guy in your av. Floyd is #1 rated at sww and GGG willing to drop down to 154 for such a huge fight.

PAC won a belt at 154 plus one of the best fighter pound for pound. Some even say number 1. Golovkin should call him out. If he doesn't it's clear he is ducking
