What has Scotty done to get the respect of you gies? get KOed by Lacy? If getting KOed by Lacy will make you a good fighter, Maybe I should just skip all my amatuer fights and fight Lacy next?LOL

Peter will show up and do well against Pemberton.

Im not sure why Peter moved up to Supermiddle so fast but he should do well.

I doubt that this fight will end up in a KO or TKO.

I agree, Scotty takes alot of shots, and he has been taking them for a while.

I just don't understand why people are giving Scotty so much respect?

I think for alot of 'hardcore' boxing fans, most aren't going to like "reality-tv" boxers and will always root for the opposition, this case being Scott Pemberton. That being said, i have Pemberton winning in 9, before Lacy, i remember he was having a pretty good 2004, he had a solid number of knockout wins that year.

              naah.

              You guys are overrating Pemberton.

Manfredo's only real losses were to Sergio Mora and that's really nothing to be shameful of. Not to mention he was robbed big time on the contender.

I say he outboxes Pemberton via Dec.

I have been in boxing since I was 6 years old. Although my favorite divisions are 130-154, I have seen Scotty fight, He is nothing special, or anything to bragg about. His biggest wins are not signigicant, I think that his biggest win was a TKO win over Sheika. Scotty became famous once he was the stepping stone for Lacy.

I agree, remember that the fights on Contender were like 4 or 6 rounds, and Peter is a late starter. Everyone is Overrating Scotty bc of his KO-LOSS to Lacy. And that in itself is quite amusing.

Don't get me wrong. Pemberton is a decent fighter...and has fought some decent guys. Most notbably his stoppage victory over Omar Sheika; but age is a serious factor here

Pemberton is 40 years old and on the way down.

Manfredo is 25 and on the way up.

I agree that he is a decent fighter, but people are speaking of him as if he was a world class champion that Peter has no chance against.

Yeah age has alot to do with it as well, Have you heard Scotty talk? he sounds permanently damaged
