But he did fight at welterweight against Bradley and many, myself included thought he edged Bradley out and deserved the win.

If you **** on Khan and Maidana (which I do as well) you HAVE to **** on this fight as well. Mike Alvarado earns you a shot at Mayweather now?

Alvarado was a world champ at 140 and he also did very well against welterweight champ Bradley who is ranked just under Floyd. Surely those are much better qualifications than Khan's close home country win over unranked nobody Diaz.

BOTH fights are much tougher than Maidana, Amir Khan actually has the chance of winning 2-3 rounds on a NON CJ Ross scorecard, where I don't give Maidana one round.

No its not a cherrypick,,, underdog yes, but ruslan has proved to be a championship level fighter, and he has about as much chance as anyone vs floyd....

Floyd is just so much better than everyone else at welter that no matter who you pick, they will be the underdog, but that doesnt mean they are a cherrypick....

I got no problem with guys on a hot streak at the championship getting a shot,, maidana, thurman, ruslan, bradley, porter are all solid candidates IMO and i wouldnt consider any a cherrypick,, underdogs yes

Shortly after that post I looked at boxrec and found that the Bradley fight was at 147.

Floyd would dominate him, but I mean....the other options aren't much better. It is what it is. Him, Maidana, and Khan are all similar levels.

That would be a good fight, Provo should do some damage

I enjoy watching Provodnikov, but he's ridiculously overrated. He wouldn't win a single round against Floyd.

He's not even better than Maidana.

Floyd beats everybody in a fantasy fight, but he doesn't fight anybody in a real world.

                      **** that guy lol
