That's true. Damn. I know it's a junior middleweight, and Golovkin would be heavily criticized around here, but I like this fight.

Much respect to Lara for chasing the guy everybody else is running from.

lol I think that's going to happen regardless. Golovkin would clip Lara at some point imo. Erislandy was an amateur at Welter, I don't think he's up to handling Golovkin's level of MW power.

Every fighter does it, that's how they create hype. Call out bigger names, the fans like that, the fans frown upon the big names that turn down the riskier fighters like Lara, a legend starts and a "most feared" label gets stamped on the fighter.

Lara is doing the right thing. Even though he can't fight Golovkin cause of HBO, he needs just keep his name linked to all the other hype machines so he can create buzz for himself. In boxing, you have a promoter, manager, adviser, etc. but in the end, you have to promote your self.

Lara is keeping his name linked to Canelo, Golovkin, Martinez, Mundine, by calling them out and that makes for some fantasy fight discussions involving him.

Floyd fans like to make them excuses to protect Floyd but it is in conflict with Floyd's actions when Floyd has the huge advantage.

imo lara beats him. ggg does get frustrated by movers, he was getting pissed in nearly all his fights i saw him in. was getting pissed during rosado fight. saw him get irritated against stevens as well. and those guys arent even half the movers lara is. you would see steam coming out of his red head if he fought lara. of course im not sure. but i believe lara has the right style to beat him.

Marquez was The Ring champion at 135, he was not a Super Featherweight.
