Unbeaten Carlos Diaz was a late replacement to accept assignment versus Miguel Beltran Jr., but had no problem solving the style of the former 130 lb. title challenger. The unbeaten prospect made a huge splash, scoring a shocking 6th round knockout Saturday evening in Tijuana, Mexico. [Click Here To Read More]

When the hell is it okay to hit a guy at least 5 times on the back of his head when he is down???!!!! That should have been an automatic disqualification!

I think the description is wrong. Beltran had hurt the youngster several times throughout the fight and looked to have a lead. But Diaz showed toughness and got through the rough spots. In the middle of the 6th he unloaded and caught Beltran with an uppercut and that was beginning of the end. He kept punching Beltran all the way down to the floor. Beltran out! Beltran is no Margarito in the chin department. Shades of his Joksan Hernandez loss here. Happy with the result.

Description is way off. Beltran was winning a very close fight (I had him up 3-2), and had hurt Diaz in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th. He got dropped in the 6th and then hit with at least 4 punches while he was down. This should be appealed.
