Lord jesus I get tired of hearing this Southpaw myth like it's a fact what Southpaw has had a competitive fight with Floyd and 3 of them had pretty good speed. Nobody ever says Floyd lands at higher connect vs Southpaws. Will Manny give Floyd a tough fight most likely but his style is determined on distance from the outside and we all know your activoty is cut in half vs Floyd.

Anyone with any sense can see there styles are nightmares for each other which is the point of this fight; Manny herky jerky from a Southpaw angle will give Floyd trouble; but Long slick counter puncher is a nightmare for Manny also.

Marquez and Floyd are counter punchers but are different in style. For instance his shoulder roll won't work on Pac. That straight left will land all day.

If you're playing that game. Lets talk about How Floyd fought better versions of EVERY fighter that both he and Pac fought.

An undefeated Motivated Hatton, is better than a struggling for confidence coked up hatton.

A 154 FULLY HYDRATED Oscar, is better than a 147, drained to hell, drinking Oscar. ( He said it himself he didnt prepare for Pacquiao correctly, and he was drinking and drugging on the lead up to the fight )

A 154 fully hydrated Cotto off 3 wins, is better than a plaster smashed Cotto at 145.

A #1 in his division Mosley off of all but DECAPITATING that plaster fist bum Margarito. Is better than a Mosley off a loss to Floyd.

P/S if theres one thing I can say about Floyd, it's that with the amount of sh-t he talks on the lead up to the fight. Most fighters who fight him are motivated as hell to beat him. because 1, they get to beat the best fighter in the world. 2, they get a payday, 3, in all honestly they just wanna shut him the hell up.

Yep, because he's fought one way, and also loses to all the southpaw he's ever fought against; he doesn't know how to adjust in the ring and never have, in majority of his fights. Geez, Arum, C'mon, even the most ****** fans probably get smart by now. I said it already and will get continue to say it, as long as there are fighters at Top Rank, even if it is rematches, four years too late, the fight will not be made. Floyd is just too emotionally sensitive, thus getting dragged into egotistical squabble he has no business in. Floyd is not articulate enough, thus makes himself look like a whiner whenever he opens his mouth.

Arum doesn't want the fight. I have no doubts that Manny himself might want the fight, but over time, listening to Freddie and Arum, I don't think they want it as long as they have options.
