No he can't. Chavez Jr. struggled against fighters 20 pounds smaller that he is who don't have even half Ward's ability. Martinez obliterated Chavez for 11 rounds, and he isn't as good as Ward.

Ward's not only by far the most skilled fighter Chavez Jr. would have ever fought, he's also the same size and will EASILY push Chavez around and bully him. Chavez's strengths at 160-his size that wore opponents down and his punching power because of his size-don't exist at all in a Ward fight.
