nothing ridiculous about it at all, it makes perfect sense.

this is prizefighting, boxing is what these men do for a living. as a result money naturally plays a factor. one fighter often has a higher standing i the sport than the other and should be paid accordingly. i dont see anything wrong with them pointing that out, its basically saying i will fight you but i know my worth and i wont be cheated of whats rightfully mine as far as money goes.
