Holyfield actually had a very good first round against Toney, but because he was shot, he faded away after that. i'm guessing a younger holyfield would have beaten Toney.
Freddie Roach said James Toney is still 250, which seems pretty damn huge...Roach said he hopes Toney can drop another 20 lbs by the fight but this could bode ill if Toney comes in overweight adn slow. I think Toney could easily beat Rahman but the weight could really hurt his chances if Rahman comes in in tip-top shape....Just thought I would share in case some missed FNF.
By the way, Augutus didn't look quite as sharp as he has in the past. Not clowning around may actually have hurt his performance. That fight should not have been as close as it was....
I am shocked Toney is still 250...I thought by now he would be lighter than that.
