mayweather VS ggg, sergio, lara, pacquiao, bradley..

just trying to see a general consensus on these boards

despite network/promotion beef & ignoring the fact mayweathers not a natural 154 lb'er. how many of these 5 fighters would actually beat floyd in a fight if it were to happen now? or would he beat all 5?

Unfortunately none of these fights will ever happen (which is a crying shame). So my opinion on who would win only really matters to me

GGG KOs him - too big too powerful (75:25)

Lara gives him a very hard fight - 50:50.

Pacman would have some chance - 30:70.

Martinez - old Martinez (50:50), Martinez from the last fights (20:80)

Bradley - not much on Money (15:85)

GGG is too big and too strong for Floyd. I think Floyd is more skilled and a better all around fighter, but if they were to fight, Floyd would still lose. There are weight classes for a reason.

Sergio has the speed, experience, and athletic ability to give Floyd a lot of problems. But he is past his prime and has not fought anyone in recent time, that I can remember, that brings the whole package to the table like Floyd. Floyd wins a dramatic and close UD.

Lara has the all around package to beat Floyd. With his amateur background, skill set, and speed, he has the tools to win. What he lacks is experience on the big stage and against an A level opponent. I think Lara loses a very narrow split decision to Floyd.

Manny definitely has the tools to beat Floyd. But does he have the intelligence??? With his work rate, combination punching and foot speed, I think he could out point Floyd. Manny has the experience to fight at this level, but at 35 he is not the same beast he was at 30. I think he loses a close split decision to Floyd.

Bradley is the only fighter on this list that is in his prime and at his best right now. He has the championship experience and has now been on the big stage for awhile. He has been battle tested and has fought A level fighters. With the exception of power, he is the total package. The question would be does he have the discipline to stick to a fight plan to beat Floyd? I can see this fight being the most competitive. I see this fight being a draw or a very narrowly squeeked out split decision for either man.

Yeah some valid points here, agree with you on a lot of things. I personally think pac would be too much for floyd, and disagree with you on bradley, I don't think he has the tools to beat floyd.

But you have the rest spot on.

I think Lara is the most dangerous for Mayweather of all the opponents below 160. Especially with him being a southpaw.

Voted wrong, I taught the options were for if Floyd would beat them. I think he beats them all Except Lara.

he would beat pacquiao, bradley and lara, but not golovkin or martinez if they were healthy and not drained. middleweight is a bridge too far for floyd.
