I just watched solo boxeo,and i continue to be impressed with Ortiz,Ive seen him fight a couple of fights before.Before he came out real aggresive just trying for an impressive KO and getting it.Thats what caught my attention,he was basicaly fearless in there.but i kind of dismissed him as 1dimensional sluggler.But lately hes been a little more patient and just letting the KO happen,& really sealing the deal when he has his opponent hurt.
The southpaw is currently @ Light Welterweight with 12 wins 8 KO's,and on a 3KO winning streak,he just beat undefeated Nestor Rosas who seemed to have a sharp right hand and tested Ortiz,until ortiz caught Rosas with some nice uppercuts.He's has 1 loss that came by DQ when he basicaly had the fight won,but hit the other guy when he was down.I guess he can easily be considered undefeated.I didnt see the fight with the DQ but Im guessing it was a result of his earlier all out assult style,which has toned down in his favor.He studies his opponents alot more and makes nice opennings.He looks real good as long as his chin holds up(and so far no reason to think it wont),like a Fernando Vargas(without the faux mayweather defence which does nobody any good).
