Gary Russell Jr is listed on Golden Boy's website as one of their boxers.

The winner of Salido-Lomachenko won't fight him. They'll just vacate the title instead.

Probably a good move to duck Gary as he would be a bad matchup for either of them. Too much speed for Salido and a big step up for the inexperienced Lomachenko.

Glad to see Gary's name in the mix of things. He shows great promise and IMO he could be a top p4p fighter if puts his work in.

That Al Haymond situation is really bad

Just a while ago, SMS was trying to sign GRJ because he wasn't signed to any promotional company, so if he's signed to GBP, it must've been recently.

Gary Russell has been with Golden Boy forever him Broner always did coo-features on HBO before his rivalry with TBA started.

Gary is not signed to Golden Boy. They promote him on a fight by fight basis.

He could sign with anyone else, if he so chose, with his relation to Haymon taken into consideration.

Russell said. "Like I've said before Team Russell is not signed to any promotions team. I have a manager, Al Haymon, and he is the only person I'm signed with."

Russel can say whatever the **** he wants to. But the fact remains that Haymon and GB are the people keeping his pathetic career alive. Every card he's fought on has been promoted by GB since 2012
