  • Comments Thread For: Amir Khan Explains Why He Deserves Mayweather Shot

Former champion Amir Khan is rallying his fans on the social networks. A few days ago, WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. asked the fans to select his next opponent - and the two choices provided were Khan and WBA champion Marcos Maidana. After setting up a poll, Maidana got off to a very large lead. But Khan's followers came roaring back in the last two days, with the British fighter now holding a minor edge in the latest poll result.

Mayweather is scheduled to fight again on May 3rd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. As the weekend approaches, Khan took to the social networks to explain why he, and not Maidana, deserves the shot at Mayweather.

I understand that it's a career payday and all, but this is getting ******ed. They're on their knees begging at this point for this guy. So **** this **** is. You know Floyd's little two inch **** gets hard just at the thought of Khan and Maidana on their knees for him to get this fight.

This article brought me much enjoyment reading it. So many nuggets and laugh out loud moments. What the hell I hope Con gets the fight so we have three more months of this pure bliss.

You can explain why you're a better matchup but you can't make a case for "deserving" ****.

I sense panic setting in and the Judah fight wasn't close.

******* is a powerful drug from what I saw of the Espinoza interview on thaboxingvoice it sounds like Khan might be in some legal trouble.

Beside all this Khan hasn't beat a live opponent in 3 years since he fought Judah hes 2-2 in his last 4 fights and he has no punch resistance. He gets hit easily with the straight right hand and the a left hook but hey as his fans say 'he got dat speed doh'

Khan is getting desperate. I guess the fight isn't a done deal like we've been lead to believe for the last few months.

Why King-Con doesn't deserve a title shot or a championship fight of any kind.

                    1. Hasn't had a single fight at WW
                    2. Never held a WW title
                    3. Avoided and is avoiding every WW in boxing
                    4. Has a horrible resume over the last few years
                    5. Hasn't fought in over a year (See #3)
                    6. Doesn't clean-up his losses by rematching
                    8. Talks more hype than he has ever delivered
                    9. Has to beg for fights above his grade because apparently, he's unable to earn top fights with the elite

Any, I mean any other so-called boxer with this many faults would be laughed at relentlessly for even throwing his hat in the same arena as Floyd - Yet, the biggest con-job in boxing is in contention to face the #1 P4P boxer in the sport.

How the hell does this happen in Boxing!?!?!?

I say boycott every fight Floyd has from now on, if he fights this monumental hype\Con-job. Floyd deserves all the bad press and criticism in the world for even entertaining this nonsense.

Disgusting, to say the least!!!! "peeleft:
