Did you even watch the fight? He didn't get "KTFO", he got knocked down HARD, and I mean very HARD, got up and wasn't smart enough to hold Gonzalez, got hit with a couple more good shots and went down again. He sat down trying to gather his senses a little bit and started to get up while the ref counted to 3 and then waived it off. That's not "KTFO", haha.

I completely agree with you on Russell opponents...I think that's more of his handlers trying to pad his record but I also believe his style would give Mares trouble. It's like Demitrius Andrea same thing he fought no one then when he finally faced a worthy opponent like Vanes he beat him! I just think it's the handlers that are slowly bringing these guys up who I believe are really talented.

The thought of Mares being afraid of anybody is plain ****** and it's ridiculous to suggest it. Abner has proved over and over and over again that he will fight anyone they put in front of him and has taken nothing but difficult fights and nothing but the best through out all his career all the way back to the amateurs. Abner will fight Johnny Gonzalez again and he will defeat him.

True it gives him the right to say whatever and Jhonny is rematching him no problem and all of the delay is coming from Mares its fair play.
