He has good power. What makes it so devastating is the speed , balance he throws it with and the accuracy , landing them so flush and in the perfect spot.

He always has been heavy handed, but his speed is underrated he can turn it up if he wants here is the man in his prime tell me you ever seen faster hands even a match to Gamboa's .



He can turn it up if he wants to.




He is heavy handed the trouble he has is he doesn't know how to passively pressure a fighter who has felt his power, and goes into "fk that i need to survive mode" aka clottey style he hasn't figured out as a pro how to hit those people cleanly enough to make them come out of their shell like Floyd does with his straight rights instead he baits you with jabs, and hopes you bite. But the **** works obviously just not very crowd pleasing when the his fish doesn't want to bite. 90% of the time is a joy to watch tho.



Just wish he would develop that last bit.

Lol it's the truth he has been doing it since the amateurs only in the amateurs it worked better in the pros doesn't pay off much to do over 12 rounds unless the other guy bites on it that jab is not meant to score he uses it for 3 thing feint range find and mostly bait.

The downside is that is not really good to open up a fight he needs to have a new tool to do that which would elevate his offense to where it's not eclipsed by his defense, and that's why I keep using Floyds right because I love that punch, that punch is salt on the wound because his opponent is already frustrated by the defense then he hits them in the face so fast that they're counters are after the fact reaction shots, which he already expects blocks, and hits them again....fighting Floyd must be frustrating as fk.
