Abell? This is a guy that Arreola defeated in 1rd, and Pulev in 5.

If Fury really wants to face a good gatekeeper that will test him, please fight Tony Thompson afterwards.

At this point he's just trying to get anyone in the ring with him. It's not as easy as sounds. Sometimes as much as fifty calls or more are made before someone will agree to fight.

Fury is coming off almost a year layoff - the longest of his career. It makes sense for a tuneup fight not to overmatch yourself - look at what just happened to Victor Ortiz...

loads in Europe? not journeymen... over 40% of the worlds 1100 HWs come from the states. other then *****ko, bakhtov, a few English JM there is nothing but garbage when it comes to C level fighters. why do you think they always bring a JM from abroad? abell is a decent short notice selection & if you watched the pulev fight he dropped him & was tagging him cleanly until pulev finally ended it. he needs a win first then i'm sure his fight in april will be another durable JM followed by better guys. he sat out a year & is coming off the Xmas holidays...funny thing is alex leapai doesn't even beat all the C level guys & he gets a title shot...leapai is the type of fighter fury should be fighting now. abell\leapai would be a great domestic fight while it lasted...
