but bob is trying to make a case for people not subscribing to showtime. they only do fights with goldenboy and they put canelo and mayweather on ppv so they can subsidise non-ppv cards like the 2 we saw in december.

HBO still did Golden Boy fights after the Canelo incident; but Floyd going across the street is when HBO took there ball and went home. But Sept 14 had to be gut wrenching for them.

I don't really give two ****s who's at fault. All I'm saying is, HBO chose Martinez vs Chavez over Canelo vs Lopez. Then that's when GB started bringing their fighters over to Showtime.

Wasn't there a bidding war between HBO and Showtime over Floyd?

yes, floyd moving to showtime ignited the cold war, not the canelo incident.

and once floyd leaves the sport, everything will be fine again

They did a couple like Broner. But it was evident that after the Canelo incident GB was migrating their fighters over to Showtime. You do realize some fighters have network contracts too right? So GB couldn't just grab them and showcase them on Showtime.

The world doesn't revolve around Mayweather buddy. I know yours does tho.

They voided Broner HBO network contract after he did the highest viewership on the channel at that time. Everybody knows why HBO stop dealing with Golden Boy but you. If Floyd would have signed again with HBO I gurantee Golden boy would still be on there also.
