you should edit thread title because it makes it seem like the ufc is being held in australia which it isnt. event is taking place in maryland usa.

Perhaps it should be made more clear but for a UFC event to conflict with a Boxing match at MSG on Australian TV it'd kinda have to also be in the US wouldn't it?

Live US Saturday night fights must air sometime Sunday afternoon in Australia - there wouldn't be conflict if the UFC was in Australia.

Still - Geale needs to step up next time he gets an offer.

UFC fights held in Australia are aired around the same time as they are telecast here from overseas to cater for the US audience. So there would still be a conflict.

Maybe Geale will try and fight Sturm now

I think that's what he was waiting for all along. I remember him replying to a question about Golovkin on twitter, and he said late-2014.

Well...looks like it'll be Lee. Heard HBO turned down Jonak/Kirkland then went back on board with it.

I don't know how Aussie t.v works either. Looks like it can't be broadcasted unless it's PPV over there.... Aussie t.v is wierd.
Translation...He had a scheduling problem with GGG's left hook from hell.

Didn't we know this specific date all along? Didn't Geale know it when he was talking about wanting Golovkin in April? Is this UFC fight newly scheduled?
