Lamon Brewster to fight on april 1st

    Brewster to return in April?
It looks like April 1 will be much more than April Fool's Day after all. While others have claimed to be fighting on the April 1 SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING telecast, it appears now that promoter Don King will soon announce that WBO heavyweight champion "Relentless" Lamon Brewster will be making the fourth defense of his world title against Sergei "White Wolf" Liakhovich on that date. Stay tuned...

How in the hell did that "White Wolf" got a title shot is just beyond me. I don't think he is even rated in top 15 by WBO. Don King at his best...

Same thing. If you were alive 20 years ago, you'd be considered Russian.

Should be an easy win for Lamon. Lets hope if he wins this sets up a bout with either the Rahman/Toney or Byrd/Klitschko winner and get the unification process rolling. knowing Don King though it would just lead to a bout with someone like Jameel Mccline though if he won
