    Most Americans don't like Floyd, Most Americans and most of his ''fans'' tune in to see him lose and that's the exact same thing that applies to Amir Over in the UK, But the fact remains they sell out the arena's and they sell ppv's they make money.

    A lot of people forget that Khan beat Maidana, fair enough Khan has lost twice since then but to be fair he lost to a drugs cheat in the cheats own home town in a fight he arguably won or should of had changed into a no contest and lost to garcia where he was more then competitive untill he got caught , Maidana has been beaten and has been thoroughly out classed before Khan hasn't.

    I think people are giving Maidana far, far to much credit for beating Adrien Broner who frankly is too small for ww and just not very good in general if he doesn't have huge advantages over opponents like he did in his lightweight career he gets shown for what he is Below average.

      That's a oxymoron that his fans tune in to see him lose and where can that be proven anyways I've seen him fight twice last year and he got equal love and hate and that's why he's a star he's the Dallas Cowboys of boxing.

        Maidana has improved as a fighter and Khan has declined. The business aspect of the sport will be inclined to Khan.

                  IF this happens and Floyd fights Maidana BEFORE Broner, thas gunna start a real riff between em. Broner gunna look at it as Floyd steppin on his toes as the only reason Maidana said to push back the Broner rematch is because talks of the Floyd fight heated up. If May takes the fight and slaps up Maidana, than it does a few things bad to Broner. It (1) Stops him from getting revenge and rejuvenating his image by winning a rematch (2) Stops him from getting his WW belt back (3) It would show him up as he lost and May would win, and (4) it would makes him look like a b!tch who ran to his big bro crying after getting beat up.

                  So i don't know how this will all play out but i wont be surprised if the two start to grow distant in the wake of this all.

                    Sure, maybe but Maidana has fought at welterweight does have a title at welter and is used to the weight.
                    I afraid you are missing the obvious here with a similar ending;
                    Maybe Broner is too small at this weight, maybe not good enough and more than maybe so is Khan.
                    I think Floyd should be fighting Manny, if he's sending out picks where do you think Manny would be on the list?
                    Khan on current form should NOT even have a mention ....it's ludicrous...MAKE KHAN FIGHT A WELTER-WEIGHT CONTENDER!!

                      Beating AB was a good win imo but I think the only people wanting this Maidana vs Mayweather thing is the people either butthurt about Maidana whooping AB...
                      Or the fact they don't want Khan in a big PPV fight?
                      Styles make fights and I really don't see how a guy that sloppy will do much with him I'd like to see him beat Mayweather but fact is Devon already showed you how to beat him rather comfortably albeit kind of cheating.
