    Griffin v Roy Jones II

Looking back at the short highlights of this fight....is it just me, or does RJJ get hit with a very heavy shot from griffin flush on the chin the second be4 RJJ launches the shot which makes Griffin fall on wobbly legs all accross the ring and into the ropes where he kinda slumps and sits.....

Look at it in slowmo (sadly i cant do these gif things)...it shows RJJ did have a chin in the past....i guess with time eventually ur skills and attributes erode - including ur chin strength/ability to take a shot??

Well, Tyson's chin held up all the way through and beyond the Lewis fight, where he took unbelievable bombs for 8 rounds before crumbling. He was clearly not KO'd vs. Williams, he just chose not to get up--he didn't even look hurt in that fight. Ditto McBride.

yeah, I was watching that fight the other night and Jones was getting caught by timed punches, and there were some big shots, but to his credit he was walking through them and got the KO, but had the fight keep going, Griff would've been a live dog to win again.

Jones rocked him hard. it was like the only punch Jones had was the left hook too. he looked like Manny in his figh with Marquez, left after left after left. the only difference was Jones was throwing a left hook instead of a straight left......

i wish that fight got out of the first round, i would've like to see how that would've gone down....

rjj was determined to get to him that night. rjj doesnt get credit for his boxing skills it seems like. he was pretty complete he just choose not to execute it every time he fought because he was light speed and every one else was stuck in quick sand. if that fight got out of the first it wouldnt have lasted too much longer.
