From what I remember an Australian said here, anything remotely resembling world class is shown on PPV.

Does somebody hold exclusive viewing rights for Geale that it can be on something else? Or does all Australian boxing have to be PPV over there?

Also, first he didn't want to fight in Monaco because he wanted to be on HBO, then he doesn't want the HBO date because of UFC taking the PPV date?

I don't know the situation with th Oz TV either cept that Murdoch owns pretty much everything, so there probably is just one broadcaster with a lock on it..

Ah - quick look at it brings up a company called Main Event which seems to do all PPVs for boxing, WWE MMA etc...Geale - Wood is on there (wtf - that's a PPV? those Aussies are being fleeced).

I'd say July or august... but Bob mentioned his name so you bet they'll be angling for that date.

Gotta say though - I sometimes wish I could watch the top US fights live on sunday afternoon with a bit of BBQ rather than propping my eyes open 'til 4 or 5 am in the UK.

That sucks for you guys over there. I remember having to stay up late to watch American football when I lived there in my younger years.
