Then the winner of that can face Klitschko for a heavyweight unification. It'll be bigger that way and Wlad's opponent will seem like a more credible challenger.
If Stiverne wins, which I believe he win, he's a very credible opponent.

The only reason the Ibragimov fight was a snooze fest was because the ****** ref didn't do his job and allowed Wlad to continually lay on top of his opponent. That would wear anyone out. I think that fight would have been much more competitive if that BS wasn't allowed. Ibragimov would have had a fair chance and if you remember he was still able to wear Wlad down a bit with body punches. Foock that REF!

I really hope Areola wins. Always wanted to see him vs Wlad because he's never been in a boring fight and Wlad doesn't throw enough volume like his brother to keep Areola off. He only clinches so I think Areola is a really live underdog vs Wlad.

Wilder/Scott winner vs Jennings for the next crack!

NO. Wilder does NOT deserve to win a Paper Title like that. He has to earn it by fighting a Klitschko. With that said, the winner of this fight should be eager to unify and then all roads will lead to Wlad. No dancing around it.

Wilder will either face Wlad or fight the Fury's and Pulev's of the world to climb to #1 contender.

Go away Wlad, first chance of some entertainment and life in the HW division and this guy wants to snuff it out at the earliest opportunity. No thank you.

This is of course not true. What really got Ibragimov was the pawing jab that Wlad implemented. He never did it like that before, knocking Ibragimov's jab down with his own jab.

Then of course, Ibragimov was just too defensive and was content on not getting KO'd.

Oh common. Ike Beabuchi Vs David Tua did not need a World trinket to make it exciting. These guys can rebound after losing to Wlad and still give you your fix of exciting fights.

Without a world title the money isn't there to encourage those sorts of fights and no one wants to take risks in case they lose out on a potential mandatory spot to Wlad, which while he holds all the titles is the only big money fight in the division.

There's a reason the HW division is dead, much of it comes down to these guys not wanting to fight each other because it's not worth the risk. If they can get this world title on the move we'll see fights with all the big names in the US and UK. Wilder, Chisora, Fury, Jennings etc.

Of course he doesn't "only clinch". There is plenty more to it than that.

But I'm thinking whether we should let comments like this slide or not. One on hand, it's a good thing that people think that a guy like Arreola is a "live underdog", because that would make it a good victory for Wlad once he demolished him. Right?

But that's in foresight. In hindsight, if he gets dominated, he will be just another fat bum who couldn't hang.

Agreed but Wlad can get it once Wilder grabs that belt
