If Floyd was to lose his next fight....

    - How would you rank him?
    - Would your opinion of him and his legacy change?
    - How would you rate the guy who beats him if it's someone like Khan or Maidana?
    - Would Floyd fight again to avenge any loss or retire?

For some reason I don't think Floyd is going to retire undefeated.

I always ask myself this: has Floyd improved since Cotto with Floyd Sr back in camp OR has his choice of opposition made him look stellar.

It's more than likely the choice of opposition. Slow plodding Guerrero and Canelo who have fought nobody besides Berto for Ghost and Trout for Canelo.

If Floyd loses his entire fan base will **** their pants

His PPV # will take a major hit because 85% of people want to see him lose

of course he will retire undefeated. his 2 biggest threats at 147 are at top rank and floyd has already made excuse not to do business with bob arum.

in may he will fight khan and knock him out.

in september he will fight porter or thurman and win.

may next year he fights maidana if he beats broner and he boxes circles around him.

september next year pacquaio maybe??? but if he finds another excuse, danny garcia.

he wont fight ggg or lara and he doesnt have to. its not his weight class.

            only other possibles are malignaggi.

only reason we are seeing floyd-khan is because danny garcia beat mattyse who would have fought floyd if he won.

Personally, I dunno, I don't think he would fight again if he lost but then again it would be pretty embarrassing to go out on a loss. At the same time, avenging the defeat wouldn't particularly enhance his legacy...but it could make lots of money.

Would be amusing. We will see. My gut feeling is that he will just about keep the record, as he isn't going to face the hardest opposition available to him in all likelihood like Manny or GGG or Bradley.

Floyd barely gets hit though so he's not battle worn at all, and is in top condition, so his age must be taken with a pinch of salt. Similar to Wlad, except Floyd to a larger extent.

He immediately rematched Castillo. If he lost a fight, even if it's some crazy, crazy, CJ Ross style robbery he goes right back to it. The money would be enormous too. Beating Mayweather for real makes you an instant legend.
