All Ward's comments are the same on a Golovkin fight. You can pretend he wants the bout if you like, but having followed his comments on interviews for the last year I know his approach to the bout. It's always 'down the line', or 'not yet', 'bigger fight in the future', it's never "I want that fight" like he does about Chavez or Froch, he even offered Groves a fight but never Golovkin.

Carl Froch on the other hand has stated he would like to fight Golovkin on a number of occasions, no reticence and no 'down the line'. The UK fans on the other hand want to see him against Groves.
he never offered golovkin A fight? are you blind?

"You guys make these guys out to be bogeymen and monsters. We as fighters, we don't think like that. I respect (Golovkin), but I see holes in his game. ... Ask them if they want it at 168 (pounds) right now. I don't see them asking for that. I see them saying anybody from 160 to 175, but when they're pressed, I don't see him calling me out. Stop beating around the bush and get straight to it."

find me a quote of golovkin asking for a fight with ward at 168? (there is NONE) ward being the number 2 pfp in the sport shouldn't have to chase & mock golovkin (like he's doing) golovkin has done **** all in the sport. beating A blown up ishida doesn't give you the the right to think you're all of a sudden a ranked star & deserve a money fight with mayweather (a blown up welterweight @ 154) it's gotten pathetic. golovkin should be chasing ward (& being very vocal about the fight) not the other way around. why should ward have to mock golovkin into A fight like he's doing...........

& also. you're wrong again. HBOs plans was to match froch with golovkin & chavez with ward (both would be PPV) the winners would then face each other on an even bigger PPV. if you can't see that......well then i would argue that you have no clue about business & just all around common sense.

golovkins problem is that he doesn't want to go to 168 (i don't even think he wants froch right now at 168) he wants to clean out A weak 160 so both of those fights are on a back burner............

jesus this kid............so simple that even a fruit bat could see it.

And because you were whining about money, i'd be massively surprised if a Ward fight didn't get him more cash than Andy Lee(or any fight in his career). Do you think otherwise?
No one "with pulse" at 160 or 168 will fight for 300 K. It's all about money. Boxing is business. According to Loeffler they offered Rodrigues the 19 Jan 2013 fight for 500 K at 168. Rodrigues passed.

I can understand that GGG wants to stay at 160. Now he has HBO backing him. Back then when he said he would fight anyone from 154-168 he had no contract with HBO, had no money to make fights with the top boxers so he was willing to fight anyone who would agree from 154-168. Hopefully they can get top MWs now.

Do you think the fight with the MW lineal champ will get him less than a Ward fight? Why should he move up, why can't he wait for the Cotto/Martinez winner?

Things have changed. GGG's popularity is increasing, there is money to get fights with top MW (Loeffler after the Adama fight said they can pay top MWs now), he's got contract with HBO. Yes he said he would fight anyone from 154 to 168. But only idiots don't change their plans when situation changes. He has the rights to clean out the MW devision and prove he's no 1 MW.

I stopped reading this thread when someone said Stevens should be above Macklin. :|...

Its likely Martinez, GGG, Quillin, Sturm, Murray, Geale, *Barker, Macklin, and (nut hugging here, kind of as I'm a really big fan) Danny Jacobs, Rubio, etc etc. Curtis isn't even top 10..maybe even top 15. :|

Well, Golovkin, a top fighter wants to fight you, Arthur Abraham did much better than you at middleweight and he dared to step up, do you dare to do the same?

I don't hate Golovkin, but like how I hate how Wilder fans are praising Wilder for fighting nobodies or how Floyd fans says "he doesn't need Pacquiao!", I hate this ******ed lie about no big fights being available to Golovkin, he got one of the greatest oppurtunities of all fighters in boxing, fight Froch.

If he beats Froch, it will be Golovkin's first good win and I will give him major props, although I'm convinced Froch will beat him if not too shot, as it looked in the Groves fight.
You should retire this alt and start anew. This one has no credibility, Andy Lee and all

This is not an alt. The moderators says I'm not an alt. If you disagree, then you should take that discussion with the mods instead of spamming my thread, two of the guys who called me a troll or an alt has been banned, do you wanna be next? No? Then STFU.

                1) Stevens did A LOT better against Golovkin than Macklin did, he even had Golovkin cautious, Macklin was just a bug to be squashed in front of Golovkin.
                2) Stevens would never lose to Jamie Moore and Andrew Facey, y'know, the unknown bums that exposed Macklin.
                3) Stevens' recent 1RKO of Ma***ski was deadly.

Stop being so ****ing racist, everytime a white fighter does okay, people start hyping him, Macklin is certainly behind Stevens and only an idiot or a troll would think otherwise. The "Macklin is good"-myth started after Golovkin beat Macklin because Golovkin's fans were desperate to make it seem like a good win.

That was at 154. Macklin was emaciated.

They're waiting for the fight to actually matter. Right now it doesn't. Both Ward's people and Golovkin's understand this, and have said it will be bigger next year.

It's not gonna matter at all if Golovkin keeps fighting the Adamas and Lees of the world. Those are horrible fights. I don't even want him to fight ward now. But this domestic level tear he's been on his last few fights? Garbage and it's really getting hard to defend.
