They already knew Golovkin would fight anyone, K2 were discussing Hopkins and Kovalev as possible opponents last year. Ward was never in the discussion because HBO told K2 the fight wouldn't happen any time soon, and Ward consistently said "down the line", in fact he's still saying it today.

As to PPV, neither fighter is PPV, and neither fighter looks like being PPV for some time (perhaps ever in Ward's case). If the fight does happen it probably won't be until Summer 2015 at the earliest.

GGG haters gonna hate without knowing that the so called top middleweights are ducking. Murray and Geale got offered the Monaco date and they came up with an excuse. sturm already ran away when GGG was his mandatory. quillin hiding behind GBP. Martinez obviously going for the bigger pay check but dibella will do anything to roadblock ggg vs Martinez. dibella already threw macklin at him now he is throwing lee. I hope Geale steps up and takes the fight.

Go have a look at boxrec - click on their MW rankings and look at the ages - almost without exception the top guys are in their 30s - the average age of the top 20 is a fraction over 31.

I guarantee you, once Ward and his team finally realize GGG wants nothing to do with him, he moves up to fight the winner of Stevenson/Kovalev.

complete bull............HBO was trying to do a ring of PPV fights for golovkin. the first would be froch vs golovkin (& if golovkin beat froch it would set up A lucrative fight with ward) ward would be on the under card fighting chavez. (golovkin just won't agree to the ward part though)

& wards last quote was "golovkin doesn't call me out or doesn't want the fight" basically mocking golovkin for his lack of motivation for their fight.

Alright, answer this question for me. If GGG can not get the top guys at 160 Pounds, what should GGG do?
