Golovkin's next opponent revealed!

As far as benchmarks go, GGG is in the same position as any other fighter that had climbed the ranks. His career is being paced just like any other fighter. And when you look at it, he was really only exposed to the American public for the first time a year ago.
The key difference? He fights frequently to stay busy. When you fight as often as him, you're not going to fight top 5 MW's every outing. As you can see, you need more time to materialize a fight against better opposition. And don't forget, Murray was supposed to be in Adama's position on Saturday..Last edited by BG_Knocc_Out; 02-03-2014, 12:31 PM.Comment

If he can't fight the top guys at 160, he should not move up to the division where several top fighters in the division have expressed there interest in the matchup (Froch, Bika, Ward). He should stay at 160 and continue to fight guy's who sale vacuum cleaners in the daytime. While guys like me, you and the majority of this forum praise him for it.Comment

There's a solution, Floyd could move up and Golovkin could move down then they'll both have someone to fight.Comment

You know, J the Unbiased, I thought you were a troll when I saw your low standing on this site, but so far, you have proven to be more intelligent than the other posters here, I mean, these are the guys who praise Golovkin but bash Wilder, even though their situations are similiar with Wilder looking like he's making much more progress.Comment

Floyd just moved up to fight the top guy at 154, why doesn't GGG move up to 168 and fight the top guy. I'll tell you why, GGG doesn't have to, he's the greatest of all time!Comment
