If you think Rigo is boring you should blame his opponents

The difference is that Rigo hasn't fought all that 122 has to offer yet. Even if it does seem like he's beyond everyone else, he still needs to prove it.

If you thought that fight was "horribly boring," it leads me to believe you only appreciate the "Rock 'em, Sock 'em Robots" type of fights.
He did hang back, he just won the rare 1 or 2 exchanges that occurred each round. I was there live as well and it was painful to watch, 98% of the fight consisted of both guy posing and doing nothing. It doesnt have to be a brawl to be a good fight but only a rigo fan can call that fight "not boring". Its the same thing as Vlad fans saying he isnt boring. He's obviously good but boring

thats part of the problem. little guys arent big draws to begin with, so coupled with a style that isnt too fan friendly, doesnt make a great combination.

you cant put all the blame on his opponents. rigo has a part in this too. why is it all up to his opponents to make rigo look good? if youre the a-side, arent you the one that is suppose to put on the show? you get the bigger purse split, you get to headline your own card, but its up to your opponent to make you look good?

rigo can have a successful and well respected career like a Ivan Calderon, another masterful boxer. nothing wrong with that. Like Rigo, Ivan was relatively unknown outside of die hard fans. but as a main even attraction on a major cable network like HBO, he might have make some changes or sacrifices to how he approaches fights.

            WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!?!

Rigo fights are far more entertaining than Mayweathers and I think both are fairly yawn worthy.

I understand both guys might not be overly keen too fight him but money talks. Rigondeaux vs Frampton could be huge. How about Leo Santa Cruz? Another aggressive volume puncher who shouldn't be scared too open up.

I think opposition like this is what is needed and what will make Rigo shine like a diamond.
Only potential cash cows get heaven and earth moved to be put on hbo to be seen beating on smaller guys, and weak come forward champions and opposition. Lets face it Rigo had 0% chance of ever being a super star, and that is what Bob saw but wants another one of those desperately that's why he is pulling all these hype jobs gimmick fighters out of the woodwork that he could push, but Rigo never fit the bill he is the wrong nationality, and on the wrong side of 30 as well for Arum to see a future where he is milking him.

Therefore Bobs hope was that he was just gonna be another name for Donaire's resume, but Cuban boxers have a funny way of fking up promoters cash cow plans. Now he is promoting a guy he never wanted to be successful who caught him by surprise because he underestimated him and it shows.

Rigo did well for about 5 or 6 rounds against Don and took the fight to him but then he got too comfortable and didn't end it, almost all great fighters would have gone in for the kill.

Agbeko was a **** fight and performance. Rigo did enough to win. Rigo should have stopped that guy. That was the first time ever I turned off a Rigo fight.

But everytime he landed on rigo, rigo came back with 2 more harder shots to answer.

You cant fault a guy for not being mike tyson, nobody is good enough to challenge him. Period.

It is Rigo's fault, he's so skilled but doesn't throw punches due to fear of being countered. That's how he fights, nothing wrong with it, but don't complain when people don't care to see him fight. I doubt he cares anyway.
