Maidana has given us some great fights, Ortiz, Khan, Broner and now he is a cherry pick and not worthy of a big pay day? But Brandon Rios was?

Out of the 2 possible opponents I want Maidana, but I would hate to see every war the guy ever fought just be dusted under the rug because people hate Floyd Mayweather.

First, Maidana deserves it and that's that. I dont know about you, I consider the Broner ass beating one of the best Christmas gifts I got, and I got some nice stuff for Christmas but man! I'm still savoring it and watch the KD clip every once in a while. I still smile when I see it.
Second, Maidana does have a chance. Maybe not a favorite but he does have one. Trying to beat Floyd at his game wont work, trying to run over him like a train might do. It is cherry picking becuase we all know Floyd has avoided the best boxers of his generation at their prime but it is on the more dangerous side of cherrypicking. Khan would be a sad joke. He cant outbox him, he cant outwork or outpunch him and he wont try to run over him like a madman.
If Maidana does what he did against Broner he will catch a few more punches and land fewer of his own, but it might be enough to win.

I totally agree. Chino is WW champ and so a legit challenger to the undisputed best WW fighter. I've heard that he has an 1% chance of beating Floyd. I don't agree at all, but nobody can deny his opportunity to a legit challenger under the assumption that he's going to lose the fight anyway.

Maidana really hates it to the body (see the Lopez fight). Every time I envision a fight between him and Floyd, I remember those right hands to the body which Floyd repeatedly landed on Guerrero. Maidana would surrender sooner before the 8th round.
