Stevens, Adama, Lee, Kirkland is a horrible 4 fight streak. No question about it.

I don't mind the Lee fight but it kind of sucks that Kirkland is after it.
I had hoped that they would've set up a MW with him, but looks like Kirkland will talk himself out of more money again.
Dunno if they give Geale another shot, but if Kirkland prices himself out...probably.
Also.... they're probably going to try and fight Chavez Jr.

Andy Lee it is then. He's been stopped before (TKO7 by both Chavez Jr. & Brian Vera) in his only two losses, but was winning on all the scorecards (in both fights) before stoppage. I preffered Geale since he's never been stopped, but this is a good match-up. Certainly the best match-up for April with all the ducking going on. I hope it gets finalised. I have plans to attend.

What can you do when top guys don't want to fight? Stay as active as possible and build yourself up

He has to do something better. He has to take risks. Another year of this level if fights will be killer fot both his potential and hype.

I don't think it'll harm his hype and popularity, but from a career standpoint it's maybe wasting years of his prime.

It'll certainly harm his hype and popularity. The question is how much. Sooner or later ppl are gonna want to see him in with a live dog. That's how boxing works.

Casuals man, all they'll see is Golovkin knockouts.

Golovkin vs Geale is probably next after the April fight. With Golovkin probably fighting around July, we should have word then on the Martinez fight. If Martinez ducks GGG or loses to Cotto, Chavez Jr may also be considered and Golovkin could set foot early on the road to Ward. I'm hoping its Geale for July (if Geale wins his fight), then Martinez (I think he beats Cotto) around late November early December. If Golovkin beats them, then he can start looking Wards way.

Lee is an okay but not great opponent. I'd have him somewhere between 10 and 15 at 160 I suppose.

The thing with GGG is he is in his prime right now and he needs to exploit that by getting the big fights right now
