I wouldn't say they ducked him; he finally got notieraty from the first Manny fight in 04 and by that both MAB and Morales was on there last legs.

Morales. Marquez only shot is by knockout. At the very best, disputed decision.

Marquez against active action fighters like Morales and Barrera lead to would have led to more close decisions.

JMM doesn't have the activity rate to dominate (by decision) ATG's like EM, MB, MP. Decisions would have most often been close however.

Only chance is knockout or controversial decision/draw.

at their primes if they fought around 122-130, I would go for Erik, but @135 and higher Erik did not carry it as well as Marquez at these weight classes I will go for Juan Ma...
