You're entitled to your opinion, and you may very well be correct, but I see bigger things in Amir's future. -
Sounds like a damn good idea to me...Originally posted by GoldenboyprmI remember reading a long time ago that someone had told a boxing writer, can't remember his name, to keep placing bets on Tito Trinidad until he lost. The writer said if he had done this he would have alot more money.
I think I'm going to do the same on Joel Julio.Comment

Khan has just turned 19 recently and people are critising him already, see how young he is, he has had only 5 professional fights, yet you guys expect him to hold a world title, all you have to do is wait 1 or 2 years, and khan will whoop mitchel and o'donnel or whichever bum you mention.Originally posted by JuicyJuiceNo, I think Mitchell and/or O'Donnell will beat Khan in the future.
Be it two years, three years or any other kind you got.Comment

Good post. I agree with the majority of what you said. I think a lot of your comments about Ward are accurate, but he is extremely talented. I think he's a little overconfident, and will be exposed early in his career, but I believe he will go through a maturation process, and eventually become a force. He's very quick, and has a very large upside in my opinion. If he grows defensively and maintains focus, I really do see him being great, but you do make some very strong arguments.Originally posted by asian_sensationI would have to go with Joel Julio, he has so much talent and power that is hard to pick against him. I'd like to see him step up in class soon, so I can get a better ppicture of what hes made of. I think Andre Ward has the lowest upside of all the aforementioned prospects. He has a garbage chin, fights like hes still in the Golden Gloves, and has yet to show impressive KO power. He looks like Zaheer Raheem in there.Comment

Also he is having good opponents, step-by-step, Frank Warren is handling him good, his next opponents record is 12-3 and his opponent has beaten the same opponents Khan has beaten, Thorpe & Carey], with having only 5 professional fights hes taking this step yet you still critise, what do you want him to do?
His last Opponent was 10-1 (8Ko's) and his next opponent is 12-3, and Khan is being handled well, just let him gain some experience!Comment

Short of Zoo and Tito, you'd be hardpressed to think of a guy at 147 who punches like Julio. Whether that will translate into being a huge star you never know but his skills are good for his age too and I'd bet that he becomes a champ. It'd be nice if a year or two from now if he was the guy who cleaned up the 154 pound division which is secretly as muddled as the HW division in some respectsComment

surprised none of you dumbasses didn't mention Lucian Bute from Canada. 15 fights, 15 KO's, easily KOing a fighter that dropped Calzaghe and went the distance with him. Will TKO or easily UD Lacy when they eventually meet a little down the line.Comment

That's a pretty bold prediction as far as KO'ing Lacy goes, but you are right. He's one of the up-and-comers I've failed to mention. Gracias.Originally posted by ItWasWrittensurprised none of you dumbasses didn't mention Lucian Bute from Canada. 15 fights, 15 KO's, easily KOing a fighter that dropped Calzaghe and went the distance with him.
