Osacar Delahoya could possibly be an ATG!

The truth is that Oscar Delahoya doesn't get the credit he deserves. For starters,he was an Olympic Gold Medalist which is a terrific accomplishment.Winning a gold medal shows that a fighter is good before he
gets good. Many great fighters have tried and come up short in this department.
Second,Oscar has faced some of the toughest competition in boxing history!
    He has faced Hopkins,Mosley,Trinidad,Quartey,Chavez,Ruelas,Whit aker,
    Camacho,Vargas,Leija,Dorsey(kickboxing champ),Mayweather,Gonzalez,and
Gatti!..His resume makes Sugar Ray Leonard's look weak!..We know he came
up short in many of his super-fights,but the truth is that Oscar had to
deal with competition very few boxers had to contend with in their careers.

Based on titles won 6, and title defenses I have him top 30-50 same as Duran. If he had won his biggest fights easily top ten.

Resume=wins...so listing fights he lost does him no justice

Leonard has wins over Duran,Hearns and Hagler and benitez...so how does his resume make leonards look weak?

Lots of people already do consider him an all time great. I am not an Oscar fan and there are lots of things I don't like about him. Still to be fair I think he is an all time great. He is no where near the top but he is likely in the top 100 best fighters of all time. Of course nobody has seen all the great fighters in history fight. I know I have not.

In regards to Sugar Ray Leonard he is a better fighter than Oscar with a better record than Oscar and I am sure about that having watched both careers from start to finish.

He might have lost quite a few fights but he does have a win over a top 5 P4P version of Pernell Whitaker, and a still top 5 JCC. Despite it not being official, many fans will always feel he beat prime Trinidad well before B-Hop did, and should have gotten the decision against prime Mosley in the rematch.

Oscar De La Hoya has an ATG resume. With a resume like that and really only having lost about 4 of those fights, it's a great resume, and an important fighter to the business side of the sport especially PPV for the 147-154 weight classes.

Oscar also has wins that alot of people thought were losses. He's a very good fighter who I will always respect but some of the stuff he gets credit for is overrated

He lost to Sturm, Hopkins, Mayweather and Pacquiao and that's about it.

Quartey fight was close, I thought he beat Trinidad and Mosley(II). Then he has all of those other wins like top 5 P4P Whitaker, Chavez, Camacho, Hernandez, Ruelas, Molina, Vargas, Mayorga etc.

No one goes thru oscar's resume undefeated..

He is an atg IMO but would be one of the lowest ranked atg.. In a top 100 he is probably 80-100 range

                    Oscar is top 60

                    He beat the brakes tito.
His loses were very competitive vs prime fighters
And beat ATGs and prime fighters .

Guy earned his spot . He did what everyone wants their favorite fighter to do
                    Fight everyone win or lose.
