Not trying to defend Roy but it's mostly true what this post says. He just doesn't have the heart, which is a hell of a knock on him anyway. He's still quick but doesn't have the killer instinct anymore, the energy, the adrenaline... it's gone. It's not a skill problem, it's an attitude/heart/motivation problem.
In all honestly it looks like he's on drugs. I'm not trying to start a rumor or assume anything... just an observation.Comment

You need to go back and look at what happened with Roy and the WBC belt in 1997-1998.Originally posted by twospeed99I'm not sure where your taking this, but is Jones responsible for the decisions of the WBO.I think you need to justify your dislike of Jones based on a decision made by the WBO, Jones had nothing to do with that or he would of been named in the lawsuit along with the WBO, pretty lame reason to be dissin him I think.Comment

Yep, a big scam perpetrated by Roy to get out of fighting Michael Nunn. Roy had Rocky Rocchigiani do his dirty work for him.Originally posted by NeuraxisYou need to go back and look at what happened with Roy and the WBC belt in 1997-1998.

Just another observation on RJ look at his body at 168 and early 175 fights he looked so much healthier and bulkier, the man was an awesome physical specimen, but ever since the Richard Hall fight when he was busted for gear he hasn't looked the same, yes still in good shape but no way near as good except when he fought Ruiz that's the last time I've been impressed with how he looks.
Could it be all those years he had a little something extra?Comment

I'd say that there was a good chance of that.Originally posted by theirononeJust another observation on RJ look at his body at 168 and early 175 fights he looked so much healthier and bulkier, the man was an awesome physical specimen, but ever since the Richard Hall fight when he was busted for gear he hasn't looked the same, yes still in good shape but no way near as good except when he fought Ruiz that's the last time I've been impressed with how he looks.

Exactly and shouldn't RJJ have beaten Rocchigiani to get his belt back? Why fight a dangerous opponent when you can have the WBC strip Rocchigiani and give it back to you.Originally posted by HomicideHankYep, a big scam perpetrated by Roy to get out of fighting Michael Nunn. I half expected to be jumped on by all the RJ lovers and before you all do I'm not a hater at all, in fact i'm quite a big fan but I do see what i see and too me that scenerio would explain alot or help explain why his body has deteriated so much, true age, weight loss can account for some of it but come on people look at the difference, it's like when Vargas weighed in for DLH ripped to death and normally he's lucky just to look in shape.Originally posted by NeuraxisI'd say that there was a good chance of that.Comment
