This poll is incredibly disrespectful, but if Top Rank's making this fight happen they must believe Lomachenko can do it.

So I'll pick Salido by decision rather than stoppage like I should. Lomachenko is a legend if he wins this fight.

Top rank has eyes. Salido looks like a deer on headlights when faced with speed and movement, but one thing that baffles me is how anybody could pick Lomachenko by KO or Salido by decision (like you just did) lol

If Lomachenko gets to the last round he wins an easy UD, but last time Salido got stopped was like more than a decade ago I think not to mention Lomachenkos punch is far from assessed at this point.

I won't deny Lomachenko's talent, but I can't believe it's going to translate to beating a very solid champion like Salido in his second (I know WSOB but whatever) fight. Especially from what I saw of Lomachenko in first fight. Salido may not be special, but he's not easy to beat for anyone.

I only picked Salido by decision out of unease about picking him by KO. Salido can win a decision if he beats up on Lomachenko and Loma's toughness is enough to carry him to the final bell.

Salido doesn't have the boxing skills IMO to beat Lomachenko in a decision, his only conceivable way of winning a decision would be if Loma gassed out completely late on and lost round after round. Salido has a chance for the KO but then again I don't think Loma has ever been dropped let alone stopped, so that's also not particularly likely. We will see... wanna wager on this fight? 250 or 500mil?

BTW - people, check out my thread from a while back - a recent interview from Loma's camp at Big Bear, I translated the whole thing - he talks about Salido, his career ambitions, favourite fighters and more.

someone in his 2nd pro fight beating SIRI......ummmmmmm.....tough ask but i think he does it. lateral movement, angles, super relaxed in there while salido is pressuring him.

LC is too good right now. Fresh, tight fundamentals. Good for Salido cashing out though.

At first I favored salido, but then realized this is arum and top rank and they don't mess up match making for their rising prospects/stars.. So if top rank thinks lomochenko can beat salido, then I gotta go with lomo,,, I can't think of any top rank guy that didn't get guided to the top,,, gamboa, Lopez, Garcia, Chavez jr, cotto, Floyd, pavilion,

I think top rank saw salido getting dropped a lot vs Garcia and realized he is probably ripe for the picking

I got lomo via a ref stoppage in the 8th

There isn't really enough information to predict with an accuracy on this one. It comes down to if Lomachenko can take a punch. He's not Rigo slick, he get touched up. He doesn't really have world changing power.

He is very skilled, very talented, and if he beats Salido, there will be massive upside for him.

I have a feeling this is too much too soon though.

If Lomachenko can take the punishment and hold together mentally, he can win easily with his skill.

Salido gets over rated quite a bit because he beat down Juanma, but he is if nothing a veteran who has been in against the very best the sport has to offer.

Lomachenko has an incredible offence, I am not sure if he is an actual puncher, but he can definitely put hands on you.

This isnt Top Rank match making, Lomachenko would only sign if he was given a title shot for his second fight

This is very possible but Loma has skill and power, he only lacks pro experience.
